It’s time to find a new President, Secretary and Co-Secretary. The Board is accepting nominations and/or volunteers starting now for elections in the Spring. The elected people will begin their duties with the first board meeting of the 2021-2022 season. All positions are a two-year term.
NLSC Duties of the President:
- Preside over all monthly club meetings
- Preside over all monthly board meetings & find a place for the meeting
- Write (or designate) articles for the monthly newsletter (only during the season)
- Determine annual event schedule
- Set up meeting schedule and locations (designate)
- Attend monthly Three Lakes Trails meeting (designate)
- Make sure events are properly staffed
- Update website and keep it current (Dave Wheeler)
- Welcome new members
- Respond to calls from local media
- Update Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce guidebook article
- Promote the Club
NLSC Duties of the Secretary and Co-Secretary (two are needed in case one cannot attend a meeting):
- Must attend Board and Membership Meetings; it’s important to be a part of the club and share input with happenings, newsletters, etc.
- Take minutes of both Board and Membership Meetings and have them posted on the website
- Assist the President
- Send Thank You cards for donations received
